The orphanage  is named after Lambros Charalambous of blessed memory who reposed in the Lord September 14th 2018. Our beloved Lambros was a very pious, charitable and humble soul whose kindness and warm heartedness touched everyone he met. He was born in the village of Episkopi in Paphos, Cyprus moving to London, Great Britain with his family in 1965. The Lambros Charalambous Christian Foundation set up in his honour supports the Church, the Mission and the Orphanage. Lambros’s son, Andrew is patron of the orphanage and Mission.

Saint John Orthodox mission centre and Orphanage is Located 20kms away from Nyahururu town in Kenya..We provide Food,Education, Clothings Looking forward to have Shelter and Healthcare….I began it by sharing my life savings after I met some children lying helpless along the streets and had pity on them and I learnt they were orphans with no one who would help them to have hope in Life….My Mission is to Give Vulnerable and orphaned Children a Childhood and Future  by protecting, teaching and Guiding them Spiritually in a Holistic Christian environment… Vision is to prepare Children to be tomorrow’s Leaders to transform the World for Christ.
